Yum for them. I do not think that they are installed by default. I had to install screen saver after my install.

Unhappy problem with yum

hello again

i have some problem with yum. i'm not permenantly connected to the internet and i use my university INet facilities for my work. my computer is else where. i tried the command earlier but i think it is checking for some updates online. is there anyway that i can bypass this update by editiing tum.conf or something of that sort.
thanx

If you have already downloaded the rpms you want install, you can either use:

rpm -ivh <package.rpm>

instead of yum.

Hope this helps.
