KDE multimedia support

Hi guys,

Is there any way to get the standard KDE multimedia applications to work properly in Fedora. Kaboodle and Noatun can't play any mp3 or mpg files.

I have installed xmms-mp3 and that works fine, but I don't really like the xmms interface (never liked Winamp much either).

I like my apps to have a reasonably consistant user interface, so xmms and xine, etc are a bit of a pain. I'd much rather use standard KDE and/or Gnome applications.

Is there some kind of codec that isn't installed by Fedora that I can get somewhere else, or can I just reinstall the kdemultimedia package from some other source?

I have worked a lot of time for this problem!!!
Now I have a simply solution:
I have upgraded kde to 3.2.2 and i have used kdemultimedia and arts not from fc1 distribution but from asplinux
search with google for:

arts-1.2.2-0.1asp.i386.rpm
kdemultimedia-3.2.2-0.1asp.i386.rpm

P.S. Upgrade to kde 3.2.2 is not needed but i don't know if exists package for kde native version of fc1 because i have not tried to find it!!!!
