how to re-enter package install - fc6 ?

all,

The system is FC6 on a 1 gig pen drive. Yes - it works great! I installed a minimum set (about 450 meg) on a 1 gig pen drive. It boots and runs great as a backup/ alternative/ etc.

My question is: How can I add X and gnome? Will these packages fit in < 300 meg? Is there a way to re-enter the installer and load X and gnome?

The system accesses the install dvd just fine so access to the rpms is available.

yum is available. Is there a yum install '??' that will bring in X and then gnome?

Thanks - Dan

Haven't tried 6 yet but with 5 you can edit the yum repos to look at the dvd instead of the net, then you can either use the package manager or yum.
