I've got RPMS update packages for FC5 but it located not on the net it's located on my home folder so how to make update from there with all dependencies using yum? can it be done?
or can I use my installation disk as a repo/source?
thanx in advance
Wasn't there an option when you installed to add additional software from cd?? Surely wouldn't that be how you do it, or is that just on FC4. Alternatively you could install the updates manually, it'll tell you what the missing dependancies are and you can then install them. I can't see there being a way to make yum think that your cd drive is a yum repo, but i may be wrong. Regards,
