How easy to upgrade from Core 1 to Core 2 ?


I have Core1 downloaded and want to install it asap but I would like to know how easy it will be to upgrade to Core 2 ?

I think that it is easier to install Core2 as a new install than to upgrade from Core 1 to Core 2. So I suggest that you set up enough partitions to install Core 1 and Core 2 as separate systems in additon to whatever you are running now. Install Core 1 now (asap). Then later install Core 2 and triple boot Core 1, Core 2, and your current OS until Core 2 is stable. Once Core 2 is stable you can move your data into the Core 2 system and start deleting the older operating systems.

is it easy to transfer files between 2 partition ( fedora 1 & fedora 2)
i was under the impression that it was impossible to transfer file between 2 different partition...

Yes, it is easy. You make sure that both partitions are mounted and then it is the same as transfering files anywhere else in the file tree.
