How do I edit the Applications menu? [SOLVED]

In Windows, the menu items can be edited and are found at (among other places)
Documents and Settings/User Name/Start Menu/Programs
But where can that be found for editing in FC4? The reason I ask is that NeroLinux is installed in both my Applications/Sound & Video and... Applications/System Tools Also, the transgaming Point2Play is found under Applications, Desktop, and Desktop/Preferences. I thought I might weed them out, and I would also like to add a link to NWN under Applications/Games. Problem is I'm having a hard time finding what file to edit to accomplish this.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

[UPDATE] Found answer here and here.

Where is the link you submitted?

If this is not the same link you found, please also post it.
http://www.gnome.org/start/2.0/menuediting.html

Also, please edit your initial post and include [SOLVED], or something similar, in the subject so others will know before reading the entire thread.
