Grub Lost Fedora After Mandrake Install

I had Fedora Core 3 installed on my computer. When I installed Mandrake 10.1 on a separate hard drive, Mandrake overwrote the Fedora GRUB. As a result only Mandrake is listed on the GRUB menu. So I'm trying to add Fedora to the GRUB menu using the drakboot in Mandrake. I know what to put under "image" and "initrd" but I don't know what goes in the "append" field.

Mandrake entry in drakboot has the following:
devfs=nomount acpi=ht resume=/dev/sda5 splash=silent

I've seen similar postings specify the following:
devfs=mount splash=silent acpi=ht

Can anyone tell me what the default parameters are for the "append" field in GRUB for Fedora Core 3? Thanks!

Well I tried to boot Fedora without any "append" options and it booted up without any problems. Then I copied the contents of /boot/grub/menu.lst into a temporary file that was accessible from Mandrake. I booted back into Mandrake and then copied the Fedora grub entry into it's /boot/grub/menu.lst. My grub menu now lists both Fedora and Mandrake and boots successfully to both.

Now that it's working again I think I'll go grab some grub. I'm hungry!
