Using Fedora 11
Ok...so I have a small HD (40 GB to be exact). I put in more memory into my laptop (4GB now) and now I am going to buy a bigger hard drive (120G).
My plan was to DD /dev/sda1 (100 MB ext3 /boot partition) and DD /dev/sda2 (34 GB ext4 LVM partition) to the "bigger" drive.
Create /dev/sdb3 on the bigger drive and "grow" the LVM partition.
This has worked fine in the past (I've done it many times)...but as I'm preparing I ran into this in the resize2fs
The resize2fs program will resize ext2 or ext3 file systems.
So my question is. Has anyone resized an ext4 filesystem? Does the resize2fs
command work on ext4?
