firefox i386 on x86_64

I want to install it, because of the the x86_64 missing plugins. Trying to install the dependencies (i386) however, i get that they have already been installed. The libraries however are missing in /usr/lib. That means that there is a conflict against the respective x86_64 versions. What should i do? "rpm --force"? Would that cause any problem? Any other solutions?
Thanks
