Fedora start menu

I have a problem with fedora core 1 . I am using KDE 3.1.4 and it seems that some apps which are installed correctly don't appear in start menu. I first saw that with xmms which i use by right clickin on a mp3 for example and use open with in order to run xmms. Some programs aren't in start menu and i have to enter their names in order to use them. How can i add all my possible existing apps in start menu???
Thanks

"How can i add all my possible existing apps in start menu???"

You add items to the menu by right clicking on the menu icon on the panel. Then click on Menu Editor. Then you add the new entry to whichever submenu you want to by filling in the form on the right.
