Angry Fedora hates my USB Port

Hi there !!

Whenever i start Fedora 3 with the USB-Mouse connected to the computer, the mouse works perfects. But if I disconnect the mouse once, it won't be detected until i do a reboot.

It is the with my USB-Harddisc. It works only, if i never disconnect it.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem ?

Are there any messages in you dmesg output when you plug it back in? This might give a clue as to what is going on.

Also when you remove you USB-HD are you unmounting it and then remounting it when plug it back in?

thank you for the help. But i foudn the solution. I changed some IRQ Settings and now everything is working perfectly.
