Fedora DVD copied to HDD-want to write cds from it
Hi
Just the other day was going through the posts in the distro of the year and found gentoo and Fedora Core 3 becoming more and more popular along with Slack.
I am a linux user since 2001 and have tried some mini distributions and Slack since 7.1
Finally I was taken in by the posts about FC3 and decided to try it.
I have FC2 test2 Cd but the FC3 which my local tech magazine gave me is on DVD.
I do not have a DVD. So i found a person in my workplace who had a laptop with CD/DVD drive.
I copied all the files in the FC3 DVD to my HDD.
i want to burn CD's from these files copied to HD.
In which order are the files to be burnt
Or is there an alternate way.
Also when I had tried FC2 test2 The installer had some info abt disk geometry
has this been solved in FC3
Thanks and Regards
