Fedora Distro Libraries

hi all,

When i was in setup some environment using a manual,
I got a isntruction for resolving errors.

Instruction:

You can resolve this by copying libncurses.a from Fedora Core 5 to /usr/lib

but, i couldn't google for the libcurses.a.

I'm using Fedora 7.

Please help me regarding this.

May be you already have it :

Try this :
ls /usr/lib/ | grep libncurses

Hi,
When i compiled the source, it says there is no ncurses library, but there are some other ncurse library packages.
But it is not incompatible with my source , so i want to follow the instruction.

Instruction:

You can resolve this by copying libncurses.a from Fedora Core 5 to /usr/lib

Thats why i want to use the libcurses.a from fedora 5.

ncurses-devel-5.5-19.i386.rpm , Fedora 5
from
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i386.rpm.html

provides 'libncurses.a'

It can be unpacked with the command
'rpm2cpio ncurses-devel-5.5-19.i386.rpm | cpio -idmv

> > # 'cp -a libncurses.a /usr/lib/'
