Yes - am not able to setup FC4 after I downloaded the iso image named FC4-i386-disc1 and extracted all files from the zipped qemu.
Here is what I want to achieve:
1. I want to be able to use qemu to simulate FC4 and DOS 6.22 and be able to carry it on a usb without worrys of any restrictions from pcs that require administrator privilages.
2. I also want to be to do the same with DOS 6.22
Note: Purpose is to train myself both DOS 6.22 AND FC4 using qemu by followning a book that trains on the BASICS of FC4
Currently working on setup of FC4 with qemu using this web link source:
I am following this website:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...te=1&p=4051387
Results: I have successed to startup the installation of FC4 using qemu but along the way there are questions that pertain to the setup of FC4
I follow this options but not sure if its the correct way to proceed:
1. Automatic partition
2. Remove all linux partions on this system
Select the drives to use on this installation hda 1992mb qemu harddisk
hda 1020mb qemu harddisk
3. Warning box appears.
You have chosen to remove all linux partitions: /dev/hda /dev/hdb
I select Yes
4. I than follow all boxes without making any changes along the way until I get to install default software packages then click the final box that tells me to have both cd 1 and cd 2 ready
The formatting begains:
