Hello!

I'm for now using Fedora Core 1, so far I like it, but Fedora Core 2 is comming out this days, and I've been thinking, what's best? To download the 4 images of Fedora 2, or to use yum, or something similar to upgrade my system, I like the way it is right now, but I also want the new Gnome and some extra packages, but the question of all is, what do I have to do do upgrade throw yum, I have to know all new packages I want, the old one's will lupgrade with no problem.

One other thing, if I use the cd's, what thus the upgrade (when rebooting with new fedora cd) do to your system?

Most probably somebody will come up with a how-to on how to upgrade from FC1 to FC2 using yum or apt... but come Monday, only upgrade through ISO will be available to the mass. I've done a similar process from FC1 to FC2 T2 but I couldn't get everything to work harmonically .. so went back to FC1.
