Unhappy fedora 7 user account problems on sighn in

hi i am new to linux fedora 7,i installed the os and loaded up the user panel but could not start up a user to sign in and i am stuck on the sign in panel please can somebody help me it is the latest beta of fedora.
what i mean to say is that i can not make a user account to sign in on.
if you can help i would be thankfull cheers

Did you install off of the live cd?

Try 'root' for the username and a blank password.
