Sorry for a dumb question, but how do you allow a torrent from the download?

The comment on the download site is is basically to directly download then consider allowing others to download via torrent from downloaders, so the second of you options

If you not have a DVD-rom drive in your computer, you need to download the Fedora Live CD-rom. And install additional packages from the Internet (similar as Ubuntu).

Currently from what i see, FC7 is only on DVD, so like Dummy-in-linux said, you'll have to use the live boot if you don't have a dvd

This might not be right, but to my knowledge there is no way to mount an iso at boot to install off of. Even if you could, it would have to eithe be fully loaded into ram (which is 2.7gbs) or on another partition because during the setup for fedora it will reformat your partitions.

1. - how do I seed?
2. My first download had an error (sha1sum didn't match) so I had to re-download overnight - not fair!

Torrenting this is the only way. Downloading it regularly can cause it simply not to work.

you can install from image on hard drive (atleast i know u could in FC6. There is even in the manuals the way to install from the image) I'll have to check if the same is for the dvd of FC7. But, u can mount the ISO and in the (i think) iso folder, there is different images. go to fedora's website and u can find out which one is right for your situation. But the answer to: can i install from an image is yes you can.
