Fedora 7 Multithread Kernel Problem

I installed Fedora 7, have all the latest updates, and am having problems. System will sometimes hang on shut down and Boinc only is using three out of the four cpu's (boinc has four tasks running).

system is a asus pc-dl, with two xeon processors. i've never had problems on previous distributions of FC.

my guess is boinc is attempting to bind the jobs to a specific cpu and for some reason it is getting confused...

no one else has had this problem?
