Fedora 3 LT Win Modem Configuration

I have just installed Fedora Core 3 on a Compaq Armada E500 laptop but don't know how to setup the onboard modem.

I ran lspci and found an entry with the following details:

00:09.1 Serial controller: Agere Systems LT Win Modem

How do I set it up????

Install the latest ltmodem drivers from http://www.heby.de/ltmodem
When I first installed FC3 they didn't have any drivers for it at all.

Finally worked out that what the message meant was that I was trying to install a version that was not for my kernel version. I downloaded the correct version and it worked fine. However after a period of time it has stopped working, I have tried deleting it and reinstalling it, but now when I query the modem it says that it is unable to create modem lock file, has anyone got an idea what this means and how do I reinstall the modem driver, when I run the RPM it says that it is already installed and quits?
