I am trying to install "Fedora 20 ppc64 bit" OS on IBM Power Server i.e.
(Power6-p520).
IBM Server Model is 8203-E4A
I have already installed RHEL 6.5 ppc64 on other server & would like to test all "java related compatibility" using Fedora. As "fedora 20" is having proper compatibility over IBM Power 6, I would like to troubleshoot current booting issues. The installation screen just stuck up without further activity on screen.

I have followed below URL to install Fedora 20 on IBM Power Server. https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/c..._power?lang=en I have taken all required snap shots but didn't see any errors in it, then why it is not continuing installation...!!!
perhaps, you skipped reading one of the lines in BOLD RED, on the page above. Specifically:

Fedora 20 can be installed on IBM Power Server. I had a crash on "Open Firmware Prompt", but by using below steps, it was resolved.
Error Was:
Loading ramdisk...
Claim failed for initrd memory at 02000000 rc=ffffffff
Solution:
Boot the POWER server and enter the OpenFirmware prompt with selection 8 at the IBM menu on start, then run the following command at the OK prompt -
0 > printenv real-base
If you see the following the I
-------------- Partition: common -------- Signature: 0x70 ---------------
real-base*************** 2000000************ 2000000
Now if I have understood this correctly the firmware is expecting a image of 32MB and in our case for RHEL6 it is 16MB (or smaller) so we need to set it correctly, as below -

May be I missed soemthing or the "said blog" is not proper. Let's hope for the best for Fedora 21 ppc64.
..which is why the instructions from IBM are the ones you should follow.
Finally, I am able to install Fedora 20 on IBM Power6 Server as a physical OS. Now, 2nd phase is to install "oVirt" to create VMs to share Hardware Resources properly.
The problem was in the Network Interface Card (NIC). IBM Power6 Server contains 4 NICs & anyone will get VNC IP Address to start Fedora installation.
