Fedora 17 - gedit 3.4.2 has lost its scrollbar arrows

Hello All,
I recently moved to Fedora 17 (from 16), and find that gedit has lost its scrollbar arrows and the scrollbar is very thin...not the normal appearance.
A search around the web on this subject hasn't turned up anything, so maybe my gedit (or something else here) is broken.
Can someone please advise if their Fedora 17 gedit (v3.4.2) has the scrollbar arrows, or looks like mine?

I am running gnome shell.
I suspect what I am seeing may be related to the theme, but haven't been able to find any settings that make any difference to the window scrollbar.
My current theme settings are...
icon theme - Fedora
GTK+ theme - Adwaita
Window theme - Clearlooks
Shell theme - none/default

Surely there must be a theme/themes that will provide this general appearance but also provide the normal window scrollbar/furniture.

Any help will be appreciated.
