Lightbulb SOLVED - FC6+Fluxbox : Retain custom user settings from Gnome

Dear All,

I've been running Fluxbox on FC6. How can i retain my custom settings of icons,fonts,gtk themes etc of nautilus from the gnome desktop here?

When i start nautilus under Fluxbox it uses the default user settings specified somewhere on the gnome desktop.

The normal Gnome desktop

Suggestions welcome
Thanks

create the file .gtkrc-2.0
and add something like;
gtk-icon-theme-name = "OpenWorld"
gtk-theme-name = "Clearlooks"

Thumbs up

Hey thanks that worked great . Although initially i got confused where to create the file but eventually i figured out in my home. Out of curiosity,how to do the same across all users, like a global theme. Copy the file into every user's home?

This is SOLVED Thanks

Glad to see that you solved it. Another way would be to run the xfce seesion manager in the background, if you have xfce installed on your computer. It is very light.
My windowmaker setup running the xfce session manager while idle takes up only 24mb ram!
