You might want to look into ndiswrapper. it should allow you to use the windows driver for your wireless card in linux, provided the chipset is supported. Beyond that I can't be much help

Thanks for the thought !!.. I tried installing the Windows Driver that i got from Intel's Web site "w29n51.inf" with "ndiswrapper -i /XP/Drivers/w29n51.inf"
All seamed OK since i got a reply saying "Driver installed".
Now under my Network configuration/Hardware i can see the Intel 3945ABG network connection (status =ok), this is eth0.. I also have my Intel 82573L Gigabit ethernet controller in eth1 (status =ok).... So far so goo (not)
Under the devices tab i have the eth0 as active and eth1 as inactive (Very weird).. I can surf the net !! But this isn't through the wireless since i checked by unpluging my wired connection and then finding that i can not surf anymore....
I think the 2 hardware devices have got there names reversed, when i also try to Activate eth1 i get an error "e1000 eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying initilization"
