Fc5 Lan
Hi all, I not know much about networking so could you teach me as below:
I have 2 PC at my home (PC A and PC B). Tonight I will install FC5 in both 2 PCs
and I will make PC A to be a DNS server on local LAN only(not connect to internet).
PC A have 1 NIC cards, PC B have one NIC card. and connects to each other through
LAN cable.
Firstly I want to make DNS on PC A by using BIND, could you confirm wether my below plan is right or not:
PCA (to host DNS):
NIC A1: create manually static IP address: 192.168.0.1
gateway: I don't know what number I must assign?
First DNS: 127.0.0.1
PC B:
NIC B1: will be assign address from PC A by DHCP server of PC A,
So my question is: what number I can assign for gateway?
