Help!

I'm on a Dell Precision 530. I just installed Fedora Core 3.

On booting I have no mouse or keyboard. These are very standard PS2 devices - nothing fancy.

The Kudzu menu comes up. I can't do anything with it because my mouse and keyboard don't respond!

I do have a Knoppix disk that I'm able to boot from on this same machine. My mouse and keyboard both work with Knoppix.

How can I fix this? Is there something I can do from Knoppix? (Copy config files from Knoppix to the hard disk?)

I'd rather not reinstall if I can avoid it.

BTW - I previously had Red Had Linux 7.3 installed and it worked fine. I wanted to do a fresh install of Fedora.

You might try disabling the USB Legacy setting in your BIOS, if it has one. For some people that fixes disappearing PS/2 mice in FC3.
