FC2 and Mac file sharing

Hello,

I have an imac running 10.1.5 and have another PC running Fedora Core 2. What is the best way to share files between them? I have heard about netatalk, and wanted to know if this a good way to go? Also, if anyone has aleady done this could you give me a few pointers/tips and etc.

Thanks in advance
