Gday

Has anyone managed to get evms working with Fedora Core 2.

I have am running raid 5 via an old 3ware card. Is this a problem?

I followed the evms howto from sourceforge. The application itself runs but my volumes dont get activated???

Ok, The only I could get my volumes activated was by removing some functioanlity by patching the kernel. I didnt want to do this but had no choice as I couldnt get the ramdisk method to work. ( tried for hours, the initrd image the EVMS site provided just didnt work with Fedora Core 2)

So now I can remove, add shrink and expand volumes but the snapshot options isnt working for me.

Any ideas out there??

So ......

Has anybody using EVMS wth Fedora Core 2 (2.6.5-1) managed to get snapshots working.

I tried applying the unstable patches for device-mapper but no success.
