Hi,

I just made a brand new 64bit Fedora 7 installation. But I am having the following errors at startup.

powernow-k8: BIOS error-no PSB or ASPI _PSS objects

ata.01: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x4)
ata.01: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x4)
ata.01: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x4)
ata.00: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x40)
Welcome to Fedora

...

After "Welcome to Fedora" message, everything goes very smoothly without a single trace of error. However there is around 1 min. break between every "ata.01:..." failure which holds to system around 5 minutes to boot.

I would be very happy if someone can help me with this.

4x these 3 lines -all in all it add an extra delay of around 3/4 mn

then the next step ...Reading all Physical Volumes...

until now no solution

My system is:

AMD 64bit 3500+
1GB RAM
256MB ATI Radeon X800
Sony DVD-ROM
Liteonit CD-ROM
250GB Maxtor HDD

Fedora 7 x86_64
KDE+Beryl

Everything works perfect other than the errors at startup and lack of ATI drivers (which is not a big issue for me at the moment)
