I am cosidering buying a Amptron A170E1-0D moniter this moniter is not listed
under FC4, ( I realize I can use a generic LCD moniter choice). My video card is a
ATI 9250 128 MB DDR SE. I would like to use this combination together using the
DVI cable (both my video card and possible moniter have both kinds of connections
DVI and VGA).
1) Is there some way to have this moniter added to the list of moniters for FC
if not for FC4 then FC5 ?
2) As the kernel is upgraded will DVI be supported with all moniters ?
3) Is there any way to use the above video card and moniter above with a DVI connection ?

The kernel doesn't really care about DVI. The hardware handles all output to DVI. The only time it would matter is if you want to hook up one monitor to each of the analog and dvi ports, which only some cards support.

Your monitor and videocard should work fine with DVI.
