Convert music files to MP3

Fedora 15

what is the best sound converter, to covert wav. and other formats to mp3.

I need a converter that uses a GUI, this person is a new user to Linux and won't/can't use the command line.

Eh, waddayagonnado? It's one of those "side effects" of Linux: choice!

But, I use soundconverter on a regular base, it's super-easy to use, just drag-n-drop whatever you want to convert and let it rip!
Make sure you've set the prefs first, though...or at least, gloss over them

it's easy just only download the packague, from here
http://winff.googlecode.com/files/wi...0-2.x86_64.rpm if you run fedora on 64 bits if you have a 32 bits plataform
http://winff.googlecode.com/files/wi...2.0-2.i386.rpm
after you need the resources :
Quote:
yum install ffmpeg dvdauthor dvd+rw-tools ffmpeg2theora mplayer qt4
and
Quote:
rpm -ivh /path/to/winff-1.2.0-2.x86_64.rpm
