bootsplash screen on fedora 3

hi, i'm using Fedora core 3 with KDE 3.3,

i downloaded a bootsplash screen from www.kde-look.org, it had a cfg file, but how do i install that??
a procedure to install on SuSe was given but how can i install on Fedora core 3 ??

I am not sure if you've got it yet, but at least in gnome(Should be the same more or less for KDE);

applications
system settings
login screen <enter root pswd>
tab to graphical greeter
install new theme

but first u should also read how to compile kernels before u try to install bootsplash
