Booting kernel defaults


Can anyone tell me how I change the default kernel version that fc4 boots to.

edit /boot/grub/grub.conf and change the "default=0" line. The number is the order each boot option appears in the file below.

The number is the zero-based order each boot option appears in the file below.
  • "0" == 1st boot choice
  • "1" == 2nd boot choice
  • "2" == 3rd boot choice
  • etc.

Probably changing to "default=1" will do the trick.
