Question Bandwidth Controler

Hi people!

I'm trying to set a limit to some aplications in terms of bandwidth. For exemple, for wget and yum just use a portion of my band, letting some free so I can "surf" without problems.

Is there anybody who can help me with this!?
I would like an easy to use and install aplication!

Hope you can help!

the thing you're looking for is called QoS: Quality of Service

take a look here: http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.qdisc.html
it lets you download at high speed and keep your ping time low. and lots of similar stuff
