Timeshift isn't really a clone tools as it is more of a in-place backup/restore.
Still have problems with Timeshift as the password will not work. I know it's almost OK as the Fedora is hosting my website which I can still see on another machine.

When you boot Fedora 31 cinnamon it asks for a password. When I Timeshift and then recover on another disc the password does not work. The system is OK as I can see the website I am hosting on another machine.
I am giving up and trying to do it with DD but I cannot remember the command to show the proceedings as it is working.

I have a triple boot of Fedora 31, Makulinux and Windows 12 Lite.
I have succeeded with DD it would not work using DD on Fedora, so I did it on Makulu Linux (the big daddy) the boot grub screen came from Windows 12 Lite. I left that one in case it would affect the feather grub startup.
I am now using the clone sdd and everything appears to be OK, my hosting website and the shopping cart.
Now I will delete the partition of Makulu and install Windows 10 in it's place then I'll supergrub2 to reinstall the grub.
