Talking Azureus...final configuration

After a long trial and error process I have been able to install Azureus... the GUI interface comes out nicely but when I tried to configure it I got a message stating that..”can't connect to port 6881. It may be a NAT problem”...Even though I'm able to open Azureus and download with it, it gives me a little yellow face icon when I start downloading a file...
When I mouse over it I get a message stating that.....”tracker is OK, you are connected to peers but You don't have any remote connection.
You may have a NAT problem if torrents stay on yellow status all the time”
My questions are:
-What is the acceptable range of ports Azureus let me work on, to choose another port #.
-How can I solve the NAT problem?

Are you using a router, if so you need to enable port forwarding, so that port 6881 is forwarded to the pc that you intend to use with bittorrent and zureus.
