Arm32 fedora


Hi all

Any one know where I can download an ISO for a Surface RT ? so I can run fedora, I got given three of these machines and I think it should I hope will run OK.

Last tutorial I came across is dated round Nov 24, 2020 by Mickaël Walter

I presume you were luckless on the fedora site.

With Arm, especially early sbcs, it's getting the kernel running is often the biggest obstacle. I have a RazPi and it's mad. There's firmware loaded by the GPU for all sorts of things before the kernel is loaded. Getting the system to load from usb took years!

Look at how your system loads, and post on every arm linux forum and ask if they cover your box. Debian supply Arm systems like Raspberry Pi OS. On LQ, there's Slackware Arm(a subforum of the Slackware distribution) and slarm64, which covers many 64bit models.
