Adding a GUI after FC2 install

Greetings, I am fairly new to Linux but trying to learn.

I started out installing Fedora Core 2 with the intention of only using the machine as a router. I then added an FTP server for sharing files across my internal network. I never intended to use it as a workstation but now I find myself wanting to use it for internet browsing and other light chores.

I have tried using Yum to install gnome but I am unable to find what would appear to be the core install for it.

I have done some searching but perhaps my search criteria are limited by my ignorance. A nudge in the right direction would be very valuable at this point.

Thanks much.
