/usr/bin/authconfig for debian?

Hello,

Red-hat offers quite nice installers, to ease the installations and save time. http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/LDA...ntication.html
is an example of authconfig.

Can RH apps be compiled for debian, technically meant?

Ubuntu offers it: http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/ldap-auth-config

Technically, you should be able to compile pretty much anything, but if it makes any sense to use it is a completely different matter.
