I am having problems with unmounting usb store media via konqueror system:/media or via the icons for the devices on the desktop.
I do not think it is a permission problem given that I can unmount these devices as a normal user via kwickdisk and the command line.
Also if I create a manal link to the device on the desktop, then I can moutn and unmount the device.
I just did an entire dist-upgrade last night and this is the result, prior to this it was working (i think).
Is anyone else having this problem, or do you have any solutions. I have included my fstab, although I do not see anything wrong with it.
Code:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hda3 /home ext3 defaults 0 2
/dev/hda2 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/hdc /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 users,noauto 0 0
/dev/hdd /media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660 users,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/sda1 /media/sda1 vfat noauto,users,exec,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sdb1 /media/sdb1 vfat noauto,users,exec,umask=0000 0 0
Given the fact that I can unmount via the kuickdisk application, command line and via making the links on the desktop manually I figure it is a problem with the kde packages and not my config, what doy uo think?
Michael.
