Trying to reinstall something with apt-get but it seems to be installing from a file.

Ok, apparently my kernel-source-2.6.9 is broke and I need to reinstall it. So I try apt-get remove kernel-source-2.6.9. It works. Cool. Then I try apt-get install kernel-source-2.6.9. It installs it again but it seems to be installed from the file
Code:
Unpacking kernel-source-2.6.9 (from .../kernel-source-2.6.9_2.6.9-5_all.deb) ..
Anyone know how I can redownload the kernel source? Thanks in advance for your help.

Use the command 'apt-get clean' to erase your downloaded archive files. When you now install the kernel it will redownload it.
