bujecas Member Registered: Oct 2004 Location: Portugal Distribution: Debian, Slackware Posts: 78 Rep:	Software RAID1 with mdadm Hello, I want to do software RAID1 in Debian with the mdadm tools. First I used dmraid (fakeraid) but the dm-mirror module as a bug that cannot recover to 2nd disk if the 1st disk fails. It only mirrors data but doesn't have fault tolerance. If I set the RAID1 with the mdadm tools, I will get fault tolerance? Thanks. Last edited by bujecas; 10-26-2006 at 09:58 AM.
