snd-intel8x0m

I'm trying to get my modem working with alsa. Have the 2.6.8 source and am supposed to be compiling snd-intel8x0m for the modem. I can only find the intel8x0 module. ie without the m bit. This is starting to drive me a bit mad. Can anyone else with the 2.6.8 source find that module.

it's in there, I've compiled and tried to use it not too long ago (with 2.6.8). did you enable incomplete or experimental drivers (it's in one of the very first tabs)?
