since the latest upgrades to Debian 11, File-roller gives error when unpacking encrypted rar file

Subject pretty much says it all. I created a file named /home/bob/xorg.conf. Then I used "Compress" to compress and encrypt it to a rar file. Then double-clicking on xorg.conf.rar Archive Manager gives the following error instead of asking for the password. This is new behavior, as it has been working OK for years. I am using the non-free version of unrar, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Code:
Incorrect password for /home/bob/xorg.conf.rar

Perhaps your file browser settings are set on single click rather than double click.
What happens when you try unrar from the command line?

File browser settings are at double click.

Unrar from the command line works just fine.
