Root Mail bsd-mailx

Hello,

I ran the command bsd-mailx as root and had a bunch of local system mail. First, I'm not sure where this mail is stored (looked at /var/mail and only saw a user account there) and second, I'd like to have it sent to an external email account. Which config file should I configure and where is the forwarding line. Any other tweaks i'll need to do?

Help Appreciated,

pb

Correction. I ran the command as an unprivileged user and saw that mail, but the email address was: root@aquamarine.userzero.com (my host and domain names). When I ran the command as root, it said that there was no mail for root.

Thanks,

pb
