Hello folks!
I need to restore data I've been inadvertently deleted from my lvm. This is how it happend.
I have two hdds. One is
sda and the other one is
sdb. I was planning to add some space to my volume group (vol1) which was made of volume /dev/sdb6. I created one partition on /dev/sda (/dev/sda6), tagged it as Linux lvm and when I was going to format the partition and create filesystem I switched hdds letters and instead of formated my /dev/sda6 I deleted and foramated /dev/sdb6
I know that metadata are stored in /etc/lvm/backup if I'm not wrong but can I restore my data now when I deleted and formated my /dev/sdb6???
