Problems with 2.6.5 kernel


I downloaded the image and updated Grub but when I reboot it stops while trying to load ACPI before it even starts loading the system.

Any help would eb great thanks.

boot with the option acpi=no.

But I want acpi to work the is the type of power management for my computer

I know there is a patch for the kernel for centrino machines.Maybe that can help you.
