problem with pen


hi

i encounter the following problem when i try to mount my usb pen on debian sarge,
kernel 2.6.8

Code:
~:$ mount /pen
mount: special device /mnt/sda1 does not exist
i attach here also the output in /var/log/messages when i plug in the pen

fstab

what does your /etc/fstab file say for /pen

and try mounting with
#mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/pen
or wherever you want to mount it to!

also: you could try running knoppix and see what that does with your usb stick.

i actually solved the problem because in my fstab there was
/mnt/sda1

and not
/dev/sda1

thank you

next time, try typing kudzu, from command line after logging in as root
