Can I import a physical Debian Etch and Lenny into ESX 4.1 as a guest VM using VMware "Cold Clone" ISO?

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking however I suspect VMware Converter is what you are looking for.

I've imported Debian Lenny using coldclone VMware-convertercd-4.0.3-u4 into ESX, changed /boot/grub/menu.lst and /etc/fstab and now it seems to work.
