Angry no debian on p4p800

Hi!
I've spent one week trying to install debian in my new pc, but I can't get a clean lspci. I mean (be pacient):

First, my pc configuration:
asus p4p800
p4 2.4
seagate 80GB ide
lg cdrw
sb live
realtek 8139
nvidia gforce4 ti 4600

this is the output of lspci in knoppix 3.6@2.4.27:
0000:00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corp. 82865G/PE/P DRAM Controller/Host-Hub Interface (rev 02)
0000:00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corp. 82865G/PE/P PCI to AGP Controller (rev 02)
0000:00:1d.0 USB Controller: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) USB UHCI #1 (rev 02)
0000:00:1d.1 USB Controller: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) USB UHCI #2 (rev 02)
0000:00:1d.2 USB Controller: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) USB UHCI #3 (rev 02)
0000:00:1d.7 USB Controller: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) USB2 EHCI Controller (rev 02)
0000:00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corp. 82801 PCI Bridge (rev c2)
0000:00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) LPC Bridge (rev 02)
0000:00:1f.1 IDE interface: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) Ultra ATA 100 Storage Controller (rev 02)
0000:00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) SMBus Controller (rev 02)
0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV25 [GeForce4 Ti 4600] (rev a3)
0000:02:05.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c940 10/100/1000Base-T [Marvell] (rev 12)
0000:02:09.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 07)
0000:02:09.1 Input device controller: Creative Labs SB Live! MIDI/Game Port (rev 07)

The integrated sound works, but I've deactivated it because of the sb live. I don't want to use sata disks, so I only need usb 2.0 (knoppix freezes when booting with usb2 parameter) and 3com gigabit. Can anyone explain me why the usb2 and the 3com meet in the lspci in spite of the fact that they aren't configured???

I've installed woody with debootstrap and I've used the last installer of sarge, I've tried to configure the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels, but i can't get recognized all the stuff relationed with ich5... I get unknow device instead of ich5

Can anyone help me?
Have you read all? Thanks!

lspci is looking at your hardware. You don't have to have a driver loaded for your hardware to show up in lspci. You just have to have the hardware installed.

If u want to see what drivers are loaded, use lsmod
