network Canon iR2520 UFRII LT printer in Debian kde idle: waiting for printer to finish

I am trying to setup network Canon iR2520 UFRII LT printer in Debian kde.
I got the driver (320 version) from this page https://wiki.debian.org/PrinterDriver/Canon/UFR-II and adding printer went well.
But printing stuck at Idle - 'Waiting for printer to finish'
Code:
:~$ lpstat -t
scheduler is running
no system default destination
device for Canon_iR2520_(UFRII_LT): socket://192.168.20.254:9100
Canon_iR2520_(UFRII_LT) accepting requests since Wed 26 Apr 2017 11:03:46 AM +0630
printer Canon_iR2520_(UFRII_LT) is idle. enabled since Wed 26 Apr 2017 11:03:46 AM +0630
        Waiting for printer to finish.
Please help if anyone have experience with that printer.
Thanks in advance.

Did you try cancelling all stale print jobs?
Code:
cancel -a
Does a test print complete successfully?

BTW, which version of Debian are you using? Usually restarting CUPS service is enough to reinstate a given printer queue. If you're having regular problems with printing it can be useful to examine the CUPS error log, and you may want to consider putting CUPS in to debug mode for additional logging verbosity.
Code:
sudo cupsctl --debug-logging
It can be turned off again with
Code:
sudo cupsctl --no-debug-logging

Just in case this thread is helpful to you. Specifically posts #3 and #4 which hint that 32-bit supporting libraries may be required for the UFRII drivers. I'm just acting as a messenger here - I don't have this hardware to test with, so just sharing. I linked to a Mint post describing what was needed. YMMV.
